Writing a blog is a lot like submitting news. You select a title and write whatever you want in the text area. You can also put pictures in your blog by clicking on the "My files" link at the bottom of the text area.

A pop up will appear and you can upload your pictures to the site. Once you have uploaded your pictures you will have to insert them in the text area. At the bottom of the pop up there are three links "Insert as thumbnail", "Insert as full size image", "Insert as a link to the file", you can use them to add the uploaded picture to your blog entry.

Once you click on one of the links nothing will happen on the pop up window but the "code" for the image will appear at the bottom of the text area, you can leave it there or you can copy/paste it at any place in the text area you like. You can use the magnifier on the text area menu to see how it will look (although what you see is not exactly how it will be when posted as the width is quite different no worries )

Once you are satisfied with the result just click submit. Blog entries do not have to be validated by a site member so your entry will be immediately visible.

TIP: There are plenty of image editing packages to scale your photos; like Microsoft Photo Editor which comes with Microsoft Office or PIXresizer or an "online" resizer, like Shrinkpicures.
