How do you see the new 3D game engine?
Amazing, I can't wait to try it!It should be alright I guess

FM is great the way it is... And with these new addition (the 3D engine) it'll even better. The game also needs a tweak in the interaction with players and staff... The assistant manager should have a more important role... All of these things are being taken care of! We can't ask much more can we?

Ye and i think with the assistant manager thing people will(i certainly will) choose more carefully when they pick an assistant manager.

in the other fm's the assistant was just like a coach except that u could ask him to do a team report.in the future i think that the assistant must play a more important role in the game.
if you die in an elevator, be sure to push the UP button.

in the end he is there to assist you thats all. assistants arent the ones to get sacked after all.

yeh of course it is in a way.
i would love to see FM grow in that matter that you can also start a career as a coach or assistant manager for an example. and then move on.
that would add a bigger dimension to the game and more of a challenge. of course that should be an option only. because some if not many people just want to be managers and win win win

that sounds like a good idea but maybe only just with the assistant manager as an option, because the coach option would be reeeally hard to do i think and would probably need almost a whole new game lol, as training would have to be change alot

another good idea would be if sigames would release a manager from the players point of view.u wake up in the morning, go to training, come home, eat and so on.something like new star soccer(if some of you have played it) but of course, more detailed.

Actually, what I was kinda hoping for was me BEING an Assistant manager, you would only manage reserve and u21 games, give an opinion (in tandem with the scouts) on signings, that kinda thing. It would be a great way to start at a top team without displacing a manager you respect. Funny thing you'd sectretly be hoping your superior's mouth lands him a touchline ban so you could prove urself on the big stage

just so you know that most assistant managers literally are assistant managers AND NOT the managers of the reserve or the youth squad. Still being the assistant you have to work with the reserves and youth more than what a manager would do(depends who the manager is).
but yeh i like the prospect of being a coach, assistant manager and such things.
But i think it should be an addon later on in this game. Because at the moment its all about being a manager. But i think it will come later on in maybe 2 years. Because this year they have a 3d match enginge which is a MASSIVE change. and if they are to make another BIG change like adding for you to be assistant etc then they will have to put in a lot of work and time. But i hope it comes out in near future.

i think that fm should take some of lma managers ideas e.g creating stadiums, club sponsorship then fm would be quality.
by the way i love the hot dog stand idea. :L

I know its probably too late now (so maybe this will be for FM10 lol) but i reckon they should give you the option of giving two players to scouts and letting them compare them and give you their opinion, because i don't really use the compare players on the game atm that much. Would just add a little bit to the game i think.

well watson has got a point there.
i mean if you were a real manager for a team with staff members. then you will be hearing a lot of opinions from them. So that could be added to the game that everyone have a slight opinion on someone or something.
