How do you see the new 3D game engine?

an amazing player i bought is matias cahais, he's just an unbeatable centre back alternatively he can also play as left back, his tackles are always successful and he never misses a pass! torje is a very good winger and has the potential to be much beter, ninis sotiris... bogdan stacu is a good FC. too bad my team (Sporting CP "Sporting Lisbon") only has about 5M€ for transfers...

have to agree with Mithrandil post! I played Liverpool as well and it's been my 3rd season in charge, still find it really difficult to find the right players or combination in every match. I really do think we are required to be a tinker and to actually change the players and tactic every match as it seems to me there's no certain formation or even player that fit perfectly well for every match. So, it's not only in the real life they rotate the players, even in FM the players need to get rotated!

Once i get a descent team together i dont usually bother playing every match. With Leeds United in my 6th season onwards my team was so good (partly thanks to Genie scouts help) that i could just go on holiday in between transfer windows and i would still win the league! i cannot be bothered with rotations! anyone else feel like this or is this just me being lazy

personally, i have enough patience to manage a square league team (last english division). in fact, i've never used the go on holiday button.
regarding mithrandil post, i will have to agree. sometimes fm gets too nasty with what are considered to be bugs. i don't know if i would assign them this title though, sometimes your tactics, players mentality and fitness status are enough to lose you a game with a much weaker team. but then again, it doesn't or shouldn't happen that often. once in a while it is normal me thinks.

a little problem in fm08 is related with the match incidents which occur very frequently, how can we say if the referee's decision is right or wrong if all we see is a dot near another dot? but i don't even know how can they solve this problem... if the match was in 3d it would not be fm anymore, it would be total club manager. some of you may agree while others will disagree anyway give your opinion about this

at times i get frustrated about the money thing.
i mean one things for sure that buying a more "known" player u get a bit more money, and maybe getting a player from asia gets u more glory hunters etc etc.
but the thing is i think you should be able to kinda have some "sponsorship deals", i mean much happens automatically in this game.
but i think you might be able to do some by your own to raise abit of money to ur team.
at times it gets frustrating building up a small team and they aint got no money.
PLUS that you got to pay loads more to buy a player usually. and if u are to sell a player u wont get much for him, why cant i seel a 5 million worth player for 10? while if i am to buy a 5 million worth player i got to pay maybe even 14 million

Hmm.. I found this thing quite annoying as well especially if you're asked to give post comment reaction for a dodgy decision against your team (penalty, red card, goal disallowed, etc) The best thing would probably decline to comment, but that's also unsatisfactory knowing the result was a bit harsh for your team. TBH I am as clueless as you are mate..

I get really really frustrated at not being able to give decent team talks like for example sometimes I would like to say:
"Just go for the draw lads"
"We have to win this or the seasons over for us"
"Heads will roll if I don`t get a performance this game"
"I want a clean sheet this game, nothing else matters"
etc.
etc.
And would`t it be great to be able to say to a player, like Hossam Ghaly for example "you will never play for this club again"
There is so much they could do to make the game more fun and more realistic.
Maybe we could compile a list of these things.

i know how much you would like to make it "personal" but trust me its not easy, what if u had like 20 teamtalk options, would be hard wouldnt it? but i agree maybe 2 more should be added on there, or changed according to your game.

Point taken, but I still think this area could\should be improved a lot.
Maybe some generic terms where you can tack on whether the talk is Gentle\Calm\Harsh\Furious\ whatever.
