How do you see the new 3D game engine?

Hi,
I know I've just joined but just wanted to let everyone know something I've thought of! This error only started happening for me from mid last week (11th or 12th Dec). Around the same time, I remember receiving an automatic Windows update on my PC, just thinking that this could have caused this?
I've been thinking of this for a couple of days as the only people reporting this error have done so after this Windows update.
I tried a system restore to Tuesday but this didn't seem to work. Any chance of checking a way to confirm this?
