after i had enough playing with my favorite club (Dinamo) I spent some time wondering around trying to find a club which is fun to play.
I could find the club that would make me want to stay for more than a few months.
Eventually i got to German second division were I started with Hoffenheim. Its great, they are newly promoted team and the board doesn't have any expectations. I asked the board for extra funds and they have gave them to me (that's a first). The thing i find frustrating when managing a small team is little players willing to come to the club, but here even when you start in division 2 good players will come, for example Pablo Piatti, Sherman Cardenas and others. Some of the players in club that you get in start are really good. ( I sold Carlos Eduardo in my second season to Bayern for 9 mil and 45% next sale)

Anyway if you are in a quest for a good club this could be it for you.

Please write some of the clubs that you found fun to manage, so I could have a crack at it.

In FM07 i played with some Serbia Clubs(Napredak,Red Star)and last two seasons with Bayern.well,as limited_edition said , big clubs are great to manage,game is much easier.In Bayern i had two great seasons.

In FM08 i started with Coca-Cola League 2 side Barnet.well,they are nothing at start,weak team,but i play with them because i love them,watching them for over 5 years.
i am in season 2012-2013.i've entered Premier League,and it is very hard.i mean, i can stay clear of relegation,but not better than that,at least this season.of course it is hard to buy good players,'cause it seems that my reputation is still low,and there is no money.the good thing is that my board finally gave me option to send my scouts to other countries,as i am looking for new players with my scouts.Now i am not sure what to do,because i would like to manage some nation,but the question is about leaving Barnet.

well i never had some extra talented players.The most talented is Jiri Pokorny but his CA is about 135.

but listen this, my best scorer is Ryan Taylor with PA 120 and his CA never passed 112.He scored 105 goals in 5 seasons.about 0.5goals per game.
In Coca-Cola Championship for two seasons he scored 49 goals.He was better in Coca-Cola Championship than in Coca-Cola league 1 and Coca-Cola League 2.and in the last two seasons second strikers had better CA than Taylor's PA and these strikers scored less goals then Taylor.

about that youngsters,well i bought many youngsters,and they payed off.
i sell someone in almost every transfer window.of course not everyone turn out to be good.Scout said that they will improve in the future,but some of them did not,but there are many of them that was good.I had problems cause my board did not wanted to send my scouts outside the UK,and that fuc*ing work permits.in most cases i bought players for 0-50.000 and sold them for 300.000-700.000 or in last seasons i buy someone for 100.000-500.000 and i can sell them for a few milion,since ive entered Premier League.
But i found out that now i must buy great players if i am going to make something in this league,and that cost money.

true that redarmy, sometimes its just annoying to see for how less some players are sold and other times to see for how much they are sold...

In my barca game i was in 2013 and menez was at inter reserves... THEY BOUGHT HIM FOR 51 mil euro!!!! i mean reserves common...

Then again i shouldnt complain i bought 2 players for a total of 130 milion euros that season :D.

But back on topic. I like playing with barcelona. Its not easy at all and if you also throw the second divisions open its real great to train your youngsters because barcelona 2 plays in a real division . And well in the premiera division its not easy at all so its cool .

Another great team is Cisco roma.

Start in serie C2C. 5 mil 2.5 mil transfer. For a serie C2 thats allot!

Ive entered C1 first season after play offs. Now im leading C1 with 1 lose 2 ties and 9 wins. And dominating in the Serie C cup with 5 wins and no losses. its fun because you can get cheap extremly talented regen players without much of a problem. And also normal players who would do well in Serie B or fight against regulation in Serie A. All youngsters though so they need training and lots of experience but it does the job in C2 and C1 .

Only problem is you cant get any non-euro players, so sometimes i just cheat by giving those players without a club a EU passport for a moment. , just to annoying to see good players walk around with no team and you cant do anything about it

ye, those kidna clubs are fun. IF you're lucky with the club you dotn even have to cheat with the cash. Thats what playing with Cisco is like. Dresden i think is another fun club to play with. Regional div and after that 3rd div and 2nd div.

takes me like 5 hours to get thro the summer transfer period, and like 3 to get thro the januari transfer period. Just because i look at that many players, and the fact i got 27 leagues open hah.

I love Doudin for lower league clubs :D. Also the Puri brothers from levedia, cheap and good oh and sburlea if you're lucky hes like a potential star :D

you are right there.i tried to get some german scout(cause i loaded german league) but they wouldn't come.now they all want to come,fu**ers.
do anybody know how much money you get for wining FA Cup or semi,quarter, or the final???

in italy you just have to survive a season, TV-money ftw :P, not to mention barcelona

Start of every season i got 150 milion in tv money. But then again my season tickets and ticket sale were extremly low :S. Where i'd get like 50-80 mil in season tickets and like 100 mil in ticket sale i get 30 - 40 in ticket sale and 20-30 in season tickets so im asuming its a bug that was in 8.0.0

But i remember getting 70 mil each season with juve for tv money in 2007 donno if its still that much tho

nah euros, but still.... thats little over 100 mil pounds, and thats just at the start.

I'd end up with a turn over of 400-500 mil each season Profit of a 100 mil.

Thats without winning the CL, reaching quarter/semi-finals was the average.

Biggest profit was 140 mil with CL win

i do have to say that i was the richest club with a value of 1.4 BILLION euros .

Were the 2nd club had a value of like 400 milion.

What isnt is that my game with Cisco roma is being dmgd by a run of 5 games without win (3 ties 2 losses :S) came back from a 0-4 to 4-4 tho :o. And finiancial im almost 700k in the red so i really need to get to that Serie B lol.

Dont make them to good. Thats the only thing i can see.

Dont sign to many top youth talents. Because thats my problem too.

In FM2007 i had a game with Juve i was in 2019 (!) tho i still hadnt won the CL (like ) i wanted to move to barca or man utd but my gigantic amount of youth talents made me struggle and eventually made me quit the game.

I mean there is no way i'd have the resources to take them all with me at my new club, but i did want to make a future with them .

also thats why i started a game with Cisco Roma with 27 leagues open. Now im in my 2nd season half way thro and i've already got more then 3 days played so i have allot to do but it doesnt go extremly quick and thats fun so far
