Firstly, I wondered how do you play your games?
I only use commentary, my laptop barely let’s run FM let alone playing a full game in 2D mode, even if I could I wouldn’t.
Now to my point!
There are certain commentary quotes that annoy the hell out of me… 2 that come to mind are:
There is only one outcome…
But you don’t score
X applies the finish…
But you don’t score
This gets on my nerves…

I get that one as well - I play with just the commentary cos I prefer it! With me though, that one tends to appear when nothing's happened at all and there's no build up. It simply appears and nothing happens. Bit weird, but I'll live with it!
