It would be nice to know what play styles benifit the most from what field parameters.

For example a narrow field is better for a style through the middle and players that dont go wide.

i dont mess around much with those things.

what i do know is that if ur playing with a bit of a defensive formation and deep back four, you might go for narrow(especially if ur against teams like milan hehe).

playing through the middle will most probably benefit you when you have got many central players. more of a central team.
this could be effectful when playing against teams like man united who play really wide hehe.

i dont change tactics that often, but you can change these small things considering the opposition your playing against.

and try different things against different oppositions and see how well you do.

i change a field parameters once and players need a little time to get coordinated to the pitch parameters, because of that they didn`t play as well as they usualy played

you dont get what i mean,

if you have a tactic its usefull to have the right field parameters.

Or else you lose a little more of your tactics effect.

Seeing each season u get the chance to change the parameters its usefull to know what works best

I tend to check the other teams in my division and average it out... I only had to change my pitch size once though in 10 years and that was in my 2nd year I changed.

I use the longest available
I am a team with 6500 stadium capacity
(the worst in the league, took it from lowest English league, and now is in Championship)
anyway, since i am the worst team i use a lot of counter attacking, both away and home, so my players don't have to learn two tactics, just counter attack with direct fast passing.
In order to play like this i need fast attackers.
I have been promoted 4 times like this, even if i was one of the worst teams in my league, so believe me it works.

last season i was fighting relegation in serie A now im safely on 8th pos so seems to matter :o
