I can never seem to get my tactics right in the games, i always seem to be underachieveeng except at newcastle wher i came 3rd first season. Someone reccomend tactics that have worked for them?
I also always get bored with my team half way through the second season! and leave.
Some tips though:
Mika Aaritalo - Turin Puronsalo or something - 100k, everyone wants him after frist season 13m+ they offer.
Pako Ayestaraan for assisstant manager, the ex liverpool asst.man. hes awesome, he always succeeds me at clubs i leave.
So advice would be nice guys!

well, it depends on your players doesnt it? depends on how good players you got and which type of players.

i would recommend a 4-4-2 diamond formation at home and a simple 4-4-2 when away.

with 4-4-2 you can play with counter attacking, two defensive minded centre midfielders, attacking wingers, and good fullbacks that are good attacking and defensive(duh). play down the wing maybe, have a good target man and play with target man away from home. play quick tempo. and a passing style that suits ur team(which you should easily find out).

at home 4-4-2 diamond one defensive midfielder who is a really good defensive midfielder(more defensive). one attacking midfielder who is really good (and really attacking), if u have one who is good with free roles then perfect att mid with free role. with your wingers same deal attacking wingers, dont have them far too attacking though.
simple with fullbacks as usual.
play short and slow tempo. have ur strikers change position and the striker who is good on passing(if both are the better) have them make through balls often(it helps alot).

this is all i can help u with. bole is a tactics expert so he will come with more.

hahaaa
you are right
but i am to lazy to write.in a couple of i will instal ADSL so i would be here non stop.
for now, everything that RedArmy said is good advice
of course the very important thing is team talk.
also, except these two formations you can make some for defending lead, and all attack.
also in my game with 4-4-2 diamond it is good to have playmaker(AM)

try RedArmy's advice, you should get better.

sometimes the players dont bond and they have them on disliked people so they might not play well

Yeah mate you should listen to RedArmy...

But you can't expect that someone just tells you what tactic to use, it all depends on your team... 4-4-2 is the most common and probably the best but i use also 4-2-3-1... Its the "killer" formation if you now how to use it...

_dusan_ is right.
4-5-1 is good.
i use it sometimes, but i have 4 strikers that have same quality and they are all battling for position,so one striker is bad idea.
but if you have two good strikers,4-5-1 is great solution.
