Then how do you comment that goalkeeper Joe Didulica almost ended up in jail after he broke a players jaw in the game.

From what I just read it was the Austrian Public Attorney's decision to prosecute him for a foul committed not the sport. That is down to legal system in Austria not the sport.

It's not the point if it was down to the legal system or to the sport, the point is that you are responsible for your actions on the pitch. In the USA players in some sports can get banned for 18-20 games after they do something like this (like hockey for example). I don't see the season why taylor shouldn't get banned for a longer period of time because of this tackle.

Everyone is over reacting over this tackle, first of all yes it was a bad tackle and yes we hope he makes a full recovery. But... it wasn't malicious, it wasn't intended. They both went for a 50/50 ball, but one been faster and more nimbler than the other got to it first, you cant get out of a tackle once you have commited yourself... please people stop arguing just pray for eduardo's good recovery.

I don’t get your argument anymore and personally believe it a witch-campaign against Martin Taylor. I going to be honest and think the only reason you are arguing so much about this is because he (Eduardo) is Croatian.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the guy who set up the petition was Croatian because it looks almost certain that he won’t be playing in the European Championships.

I hope Eduardo recovers very quickly because no fan wants to see anyone injured through a tackle like that but my opinion is and forever will be on this subject it was a bad tackle.

So why are you trying to endorse this petition if you don't agree with it?

It's true that the only reason why i've reacted so hard is that Eduardo is Croatian and has played for many years for my favorite club, and is my favorite player. But think how would you react if your best chance for a good result on Euro was ruined because of a extremely brutal tackle.

Now that i've cooled down i admit that i may have overreacted, but i still belive that Taylor should get suspended for a long period.

Yeah we will probably be suspended but only for two or three games, he certenly didn't want to brake his leg, maybe to foul him, but i'm sure he didn't want to do what he did... and i repeat THESE THINGS HAPPEN IN FOOTBALL almost every day...

Still saw pics and i was really thunder struck (iliti zaprepascen)...

I have a lot of sympathy for Croatia – I really do. I think Eduardo is a great player and he will be a lost, not only for Croatia, but football (mainly the Premiership & European Championships) in general.

I am glad about your last post, shows great maturity!

And am also glad Arsene Wenger took back his quotes in the post match interview, I felt he went over the top tbh, my opinion of him has changed a lot considering I cannot stand him.

I do, still, genuinely think it a really bad challenge but nothing more.

Let’s just hope Eduardo not only plays football again but very soon.

6-7 months probably, depends on how he recovers, some players can recover faster than others etc.

If he hadn't planted his leg he would of been fine. He's just taken the ball away from Taylor and...oww.
