Does anyone know how to stop players retiring? Does asking them to consider retiring ever work?

dont know. if u are in a game and they have decided to retire i dont think u can do much.
what i think u can do is to change their age with FMM. make em 25 or something and then they might reconsider.

Dude, you can't expect them to play forever...
Once in FM07 i asked DiCanio to reconsider retirement and he delayed it for another season, but that was only once, never again. Also in my team you can't find a player that is over 30 so i don't really have to deal with retiring players that often...
