Former players coming back. True?

I heard something about former/ historic players that are coming back in other name when you progress to the future in the game (also in previous game). Is that true? and if so, how can I find them if they aren't appear on their known name?

(sorry for my poor english...)

If someone play Pro Evolution Soccer knows what I mean.
It's when some of the new players that the game makes is based on former known players. but you can't search those players by the name of their based former known player name.
(what a terrible wording).

In FM past legends are created again later on in the game for all i know.

In pro evolution this happens, but FM hasnt got anything to do with PES.

I know FM hasn't got anything with PES.
My question is, how do i find those past legends that are created in the game?

there arent any created as i said.

you can create on your own of course. or you might be able to find someone who has already made a database with all the legends of the past.

as red army said,that players are not created.

i played until 2023. and i never saw any of the legends.

In FM 2007 i noticed that after a player retires next season there can be a new youngster with his name but usually he has nothing similar with the player that has retired.

some players retire because of injury but only if it goes over a year i think
