help needed

hi guys i have just bought a new laptop.
i want to transfer my past games from my old XP computer on to my vista. i coppied the games from the fm2008 folder and saved them into the same folder on my laptop. Football manager itself starts fine i click on load game and i can see my game there but when i load it it says unable to load game or something like that..
could you tell me what to do in order to get it to work

you most probably have 8.00 on ur newly installed game. so update your fm to 8.0.2 and it will work fine.

well if u say that u put the saved game in the exact same directory tha i guess that changing the operating system could be the problem.
just think about it logically....the operating system is the only thing u have changed....i guess that is the problem.
changing operation systems also changed various things in the game as well and other programs and applications.
