People like Berbatov, Owen, Rocchi?

not owen particularly. but berbatov is a prime example for a target man that isnt the strongest in the air. even though he has the height to compete in the air. but he has other techniques to handle the ball.

first touch is really important for a target striker.

rocchi is quite a good example as well.

haha

i would have carrick and then lampard carrick the slightly defensivley based one. and lampard the offensively based.

carrick will bring the ball from the defence, and lampard will be the one to put the finishing passes.

i wouldnt recommend you play witha target man when ur playing with 2 playmakers and when u have a team who are good at passing. some matches you can play with target man.
