The Bootroom unlikely to continue

We contacted the fanzine editor, Simon Johncock, and it seems we won't get to read a fourth edition, at least not anytime soon. To quote him:

"I'm sad to say that it looks as though The Bootroom is unlikely to continue, at least in the short term. Unfortunately, a number of commitments have left several key players without the time to dedicate to it. There's as outside chance that it may be reborn some time on the future."

We hope you guys get it back together and release more editions, but even if you don't it was great while it lasted.

New FM Live logo and site

The new logo design was crafted by More creative working along with Ben Cooper at Sega, with the brief to highlight the differences between Football Manager Live and it's traditional older brother.

With the game being online, it gave the opportunity to have what they call a "living logo" rather than a static one, that shows the connectivity of players around the world - you'll even see the end of the logo in-game in the top corner of the screen, pulsing away to show that you are online at the time.

We have embedded the flash teaser from FM Live website for you to see...

Introducing new search

Google search has served this site well for some months now, but we decided it was time to move on.

From today on, we have a more readable and user friendly custom engine without all the annoying ads and paging. And it's never out of date like its predecessor.

You can search in Forums and/or Pages (rest of the site). You can even search inside specific forum sections or site categories by refining your search criteria.

If you are having any trouble using the new search, please ask here. Happy searching!
