all i know is that if a player doesnt have at least 8 in rating he wont get his wages

nah but this might be good for those who dont know much about team talks.

but you have to also look at that different players react differently.

if u encourage coloccini for an example he doesnt like it, he is more or less a player u say im disappointed, he wants u to ask for more from him. hehe

I've noticed if my players played a great game, in which all of them were rated 8 or higher and i say that I am delighted with their performance, generally they will play their next game under expectations. For example i play against a team that is almost as strong as me and i smash them, in the next game i play against the weakest team in the league and i win 1-0, or 2-0 with no real domination in the field.

u get a game where nearly everyone is rated 8? i never got that on fm 08.

but yh it does make ur team worse at times.

but u gotta make the right comments on the "pre-game-comments", yh the media thing.

I always shoot myself in the foot in those Pre-Game comments. Every time I say that we will win easily we get beat, every time I say we should win, but it won't be easy, we win..

i noticed that if you are managing low reputation club,it is bad to give half time and full time team talks to you assistant.

because, if your team plays against club that have higher reputation, your assistant will say to them not to worry about result,or for the fans, even if you have more quality in your squad.
of course i am saying what happened to me.
they played very bad,at the half time i lead ,but in the second half they get a draw.

then i started to give them my talks, and suddenly they started to play much better.

and before game say that the other team is strong, but if your players play good you will win.that usually works.

of course this is for low reputation clubs.

works for every team.

i at times just give my assistant to do the team talk by clicking "ask assistent" and when i dont like his decision i just change the team talk

but its easy to see that you shouldnt UNDERESTIMATE or OVERESTIMATE teams.

if u are up against a big team, try more of the "hope, heart for the fans and encourage stuff"

while u gotta be strict, if ur team is playing 1-0 home even though a few with at least 8 in rating u shouldnt say thrilled or something, just pleased, if they had played badly but still in 1-0 lead, encourage them at home.

away u can be more easy because it is difficult.

but i played my first season with ipswich in the prem league and i only lost once at home. but my away record hasnt been the best over the years.

well after all i dont have the best team either.
