well you could do that with MiniScout and FMM.
listen,just create **** filter with important attributes and click search.
PA IS NOT IMPORTANT.use scouts.
by the way ,you are not Arsene Wenger.also,he did not found that players,his(Arsenal) scouts did.he is using scouts too

Apparantly, it breaks anyway after about a year of gameplay. To resolve this I started a new game and saved it - this is now a dummy file. I then carry on playing my original save (that no longer loads into Genie Scout). Save a player search as a shortlist - load Genie Scout - load your NEW dummy saved game - open the shortlist from your CURRENT game. Remember that the data loaded in is the NEW data, so the only thing you can look at is the shortlist.

Hey,
I'm getting an error message occurring after a couple of days within the game. Any ideas to stop the error message appearing?

XML data seems to be corrupt.
Please make sure you have the last Scout version.
If you're sure and you still have the problem, please do the following:
1) make a screenshot file of the error message;
2) save the dump file named like 'db_bXX_TFMClass_XXXXX_EFileCorruptError.dat' (located in the Scout directory)
3) either send both files to my e-mail or attach them to a message in the forum.

there is nothing u can do about the problem. everyone are complaining and the problem cant be fixed.

Red, mate...
Are you working for Genie?
Because you seem to constantly be linking genie.fm
I can understand why tho, all genie problems have been mentioned 1000+ times and there is nothing no-one can do other than Genie himself!!

nah im not working for him haha.
by the way if it helps u somehow i started off a new game, and i saved the first game and in scout it works fine.
now the problem will start after i have played a bit. and i also made a copy of the saved game and edited one of them and no problems on scout.
so the only thing you can do is save one game from the start, then copy the saved game and continue, so always make copies of ur fm game, and in the end when u come quite far in the game the genie will stop working, then u can just use ur older saved game.
OR also save your shortlists all the time, if thats possible to load on genie(i dont remember).
but thats the advice.
i myself at times like to find out at the start which players i might get for free and such, but after half a season i dont need genie, shouldnt be hard for u guys either

If the full version is going to be complete around February I cant help it but wondering is there a point in releasing the scout at all.
I will surely download the scout when its complete and will be happy about it, but by then i will probably got tired of fm and wont have the strength for another season.
It would be nice if the game developers would consider to make official fm scout that would be out at the same time as the game. I'm sure that it wouldn't make a difference when it comes to sale of the game, but I would certainly have more playing hours than this way (nevertheless that number is very high)

well u can still use the fm scout. depends though if u have recently started a new game, or if u have a double copy of ur saved game then u can load it onto the genie scout.
i know after u have played a bit on ur game the scout doesnt work, but hey use most of the genie scout at the start of ur game, if u really need it later on save ur games, copy em. then when it stops working use the last saved game that worked.

@RedArmy: after 1 year the game creat some regen talents and i add them to my shortlist. Does the scout show them if i load my shortlist with my last saved game that worked?
I also heard that if we retire all human manager, the scout can work again. Is that true?

unfortunetley not. the "new generated" players in the game wont show.
i think it works if retire, i havent tried it though, but would you really want to do that? you would just take away your "stats" trophies and everything.
the "new generated" players can be easily looked at if they are going to become something or not, on their "personal" if it says "promising" then it should be a good potential, plus u can use FMM(fm modifier) to see if they got great "potential ability". in that way you know which "new youngsters" you should try to make better

No it isn't true, originally people said if resign then it became retire but neither work... The concept was you retire yourself from the game and save the game under a new name but it doesn't work so don't waste your time.
Plus X-Japan I love the name, I don't suppose you have a good copy I.V. by any chance?!!

-A member from fm-vn.com told me that he could use the scout until 2010 using that trick, someone from genie.fm also said the same so I just want to check if it's true or not. I'll try after this current season (in my game) end.

I tried the theory on Gene.fm and it didn't work, well for me anyway!!
I assume with your name being X-Japan that you would be a fan of the band X Japan and they have done a new song called I.V. that is played at the end of SAW IV (movie) during the credits.
I have found it impossible to find a good version of the track thus far.

i've had 3 different errors in 1 save game now ^o).
Worked fine first season....
Then when new players came i went to look it worked. Went to bed, got up. All went to shit no more genie for me

First it would load almost completly. then give me an error. Then it would only load to half, give me an error after that the moment i click load last saved game i get an error.
Didnt change anything so donno what it is :S. Probably to many leagues open (got 27 leagues open + players from usa, mexico and south-america), bu that would be just weird..... long live minise i guess atleast that works to scout stuff :o ill post the errors when i get home.

Well if it will add i tried to start it to my own already saved games but it didnt work.
So i made a new game and it did work for it.. Too bad it's not available for games started with 8.0.0 as i am on my 9th season with total 13 hours of gameplay.
