also, if anyone out there still plays fm2007, theres a bug in the game. type in roberto soldado and put a bid on him for 1k. i dont know why, but real madrid accept the offer. if he accepts the contract offer you get roberto soldado for 1k.

my 2008/2009 season ended.
Rooney became Europe's top goalscorer.
He scored 3 goals in Champions League final against Marseille (won 5-1).
He is actually the best attacker in my savegame.

at the start its says TOP TEN ARRANGED BY CURRENT ABILITY on that list it doesnt have rooney his current ability is 192 davoidsoul said so that puts him top

How good does Andy Caroll get ? I'm in 2011 w/ Newcastle and he is'nt getting a lot of first team football. I want to unleash him but afraid to tke risks (He's had a bit of a loan spell with West Brom in the Premier League so dev is top notch)

because if im correct he is just a average player in 8.0.2 and doesnt have that 'overrated' potential.

GIORGOS SAMARAS! He has scored 14 in 9 starts for me so far this season. And hes only on loan from man city.

Definitely Championship level, in my game with Barnet, I won Promotion to League 1 and Sheffield were relegated, he ended up nabbing 61 goals for himself..61 for a non-user club's player is fucking insane.

Jimmy Briand hasnt featured yet!
he really good player, plays for Stade Rennais
in my Lyon season he got the golden boot award, scored 31 in 34. bought him for £16 million in second season so quite cheap!
also play Cristiano Ronaldo in cf position in middle of tevez and rooney he never stops scoring, scored more goals than games played.
or Sergio Aguero he is amazing just scoring left, right and centre!
and if you can get good enough supply to him Klass-Jan Huntelaar. if he plays on his own is terrible though

i mean a world class striker or just any good striker?
try Ashley Chambers, when he reaches his potential he scores goals from everywhere, good finishing, great composure, good long shots, and also great at dribbling.

it's different though isnt it.
ashley chambers in the game when he has reached his potential is better than most of the 'world class' strikers.
chambers has also great hidden attributes, especially good for big/important matches.
it doesnt have to be ruud van nisterlroy everytime. if you know what i mean.
