smart or not, to dive is something you should not be proud of!

I saw Everton vs. Chelski last night and Arteta just dived all the way through. I couldn't be bothered to watch the cheater and switched off my screen..

your deluded, take off your scouse glasses and you will see better.

gerrard is a hell of a diver as well.

Well then, he's not something to be proud of...

But Ronaldo had worldwide reputation as a diver in the past and he still has to carry it until now. Why do you think he got booed after the WC 2006 all over stadiums? and still!

well i never take away the fact that he dives. but he has seriously cut down on his diving. u might see 2-3 per season now...still i hate that about him.

and its a overall jealousy about him. seriously everyone just wished they could be like him, their team could have someone like him. but they dont.

and if u name divers then there are far more worse divers than ronaldo.

robben, drogba, deco, ronaldinho, gerrard are one of few.

i hate people who dive, and i hate it when ronaldo dives. but trust me if liverpool had ronaldo their fans would all go "he doesnt dive, is a honest footballer and bla bla bla"

Fair points. But I don't think it's about jealousy. Fans just want to watch beautiful and fair play football without any dives, ugly tackle and so on. I'm not wearing scouse glasses by the way, I even despise Gerrard for doing it! That changes the whole game or might even ruin it..

Ask every Chelsea fan how they felt about Robben or Drogba when they dived. I don't think it's something that they are proud of. But in the end, fans are just fans. They just want their team to win and they would shut their eyes even if their players cheated to win the match.

It's a shame to call Arteta a cheater because from what I saw he was one of the best Everton players on the pitch, but unfortunately he dived all the way through.

I support Arsenal and i can't stand Eboue for diving all the time. Don't mind his awful tackles though..

One thing about ronaldinho though...

When he dives he does it with flair and it barely ever is a completly no contact dive.

And about robben. Since he left PSV he has been useless.....

When he was with PSV he was godlike but nowadays.. pffft i prefer babel and im glad robben hasnt been with the first 11 in the dutch team lately... (well a few times but as usual he sucked :P)

robben is a magnificent player, a talent gone no where to be honest, he has been unlucky with injuries though.

i have always liked robben for the talents he has as a footballer. the diving is just disgraceful from him.

but his first 1-2 seasons with chelsea he showed something brilliant i honestly thought he would be like ronaldo by now. but something went wrong.

Something about Chelsea that makes a good player turn into a complete flop!
Sidwell, Ballack, Shevchenko, Pizarro, Even Cashley Cole is not as good as he used to be when he was still an Arsenal player. No to mention, Crespo, Veron, Adrian Mutu, Scott Parker, Damien Duff, Ferreira, SWP, and Wayne Bridge. This really reminds me of Intermilan, a graveyard for good players.

Veron? He's poor no matter what. He wasn't even that great in Italy when Man U spent that giant load of cash on him.

No mate, I must disagree with that.. He was bloody brilliant in Lazio before he moved to Manyoo. His passing was devastating, as well as his free kick. I followed through much of his career at Lazio. Him and Crespo were the duo who brought the Campionato to Lazio at that time..

yeh, veron was a sensational player, really is devistating why he didnt get going in the premier league, he had his odd days where he played brilliant, for exampel the match vs spurs 3-5 in the second half he had a brilliant game.

but if he just could cut it in the premier league he would have maybe become one of the best of all time. he had some brilliant qualities, his passing, his vision, and the touch of scoring some absolutley brilliant goals.

but but some players just dont make it...would have been a joy to watch if he could bring that form that he had at lazio to the premier league.

actually now that i think about it he was great at Lazio. I think I was confusing it with Inter which was after Man U and Chelski
