What problems/issues/bugs have you encountered with FM08 so far?
Mine are the following:
1) Players never close down the man with the ball. No matter how much you set your players to close down the opposition they continually stand off of them.
2) The high number of cards being shown to everyone not only your own team but everywhere!
3) The number of goals ruled out for offside or a foul etc.
4) Immediately after a corner is delivered a foul is given for pushing etc. This is happening with like every other corner!!
5) The commentary text on the match day duirng a game will flash up with 'There's only one outcome here' or 'He must score' etc followed by nothing. Not even a 'He's missed it' or 'He's fallen over' or 'Sorry, I'm watching a different game!'
6) Strikers miss chance after chance. On regular occasions you can have 15 to 20 shots on goals and not score. And these aren't bad strikers either!
7) If you moan about a referee or linesman's decision when it was blatently wrong you get in trouble no matter what. You can clearly see if a player was offside or not but you can't say anything cos you end up getting a touchline ban.
Players often cross the ball and get 'He almost got lucky with that' or 'He's scored a total fluke' because they've tried a cross and its ended up going towards goal. This doesn't happen very often in real life but happens all the time in FM08.
Is there a quality patch out for the game that sorts some of these problems? Where can I get it?

I get 2, 3 and 6 but not the others really. Especially as I always say the decision was right or that "these things happen in football" rather than the others because complaining seems to get you nowhere.

I use to have a lot of goals disallowed before the patch was released but not so many now...
On the 'too many' cards being handed out to clubs I have never ever encounted it. I only had 2 bookings in my first 12 games this season.
For 6. That's football. I have endless amount of games that I have dominated and either drew or lost. That's not a bug.

there is something called a P-A-T-C-H dont know for sure but i think it has been around for a long time. yep pretty sure it has been.
guess if you are to smart for yourself that you just dont want to solve problems.
