i think downing is a real gem. back in fm07 (maybe 06 too, don't remember well) his average performance was amazing. i remember i had signed him for olympiakos (usual greek team i choose to manage) and his price went crazy in 1 year and half europe wanted him (and unfortunately i couldn't keep him). he had an average of more than 8.5/10 performance for 1 solid year, with something like 1 assist per game lol

yeh he is a great player.
in reality he might not be that good as in the game, but he is good in reality as well, makes good amount of assists in real life as well.

yeh he is a great player.

WOW 17 in 12 amazin but sell defoe or keane for about 10 mil or so and buy someone better a wonderkid maybe if keanes having a goaldrought maybe?

yh pompey are interested in defoe, so i think i will let him off in the january transfer window. if i sell keane then the fans would most probably dont like me that much.

They are set as the l/rb but they do have forward arrows so you can say they are wb too!
Haven't really thought of that while typing!
Anyway, a few changes have been made (on the last day of the transfer window) so now I have Zapata for Nesta and Cassani is gonne (he sucks) and Leandro Grimi is playing LB/LWB (he's actually pretty good) till somone better comes along!

defoe and adebayor are maybe 2 players you might get quite so easily if u have playerd really with reading to the year 2010/11

well if you dont beleive me, i dont care. when i brought adebayor he wanted a tranfer request and wasnt very match fit. Arsenal at the time had Pandev and Robinho

seriously though, with my ipswich game i had won: 1 fa cup, 2 community shields, 1 premiership title. 1 uefa cup.
i just had won the premier league and was in the champions league quarter finals. was in around the same year as you.
and i still had a reputation around 8000, and i couldnt sign big players, well i had success with daniel alves who is my only "big star" player.
others i have are the likes of rossi and akinfeev, downing and such.
in fm07 it was easier, in fm08 its difficult.
but you never know...
