41.5mil for bojan? is that a lil over the top?

Who are you? I wish I'd get 100mil to spend then again I've never been a great team. I'd say if you got that kind of cash go nuts.

well it is not too much.40mil is normal for great players.
of course that is my opinion,and i never feel sorry when pay 40mil if he is good.

im arsenal.....since the patch im stacking the money in....have only sold a couple of useless players for no more than 10mil

I was manager in Sweden with a club IF Heimer for 7 years and took them from the bottom league to top with back to back titles in the top flight then I took over at Preston from League One (won Johnstone's Paint Trophy too) to the Premiership in 2 years and have just qualified for Europe in my 2nd year in the Prem.

Well in my Juve game, i'm playing a challenge with my brother where I can only buy Italian players, i had to buy Giuseppe Rossi for 70m and Daniele De Rossi for 60m, not in the same season though

thats too much money. i usually like to keep it realistic, even though i have 40 million i wont buy a player for 30+ millions. and i will only buy a player for over 25+ if he is a truly world class player at 25 or under and could be a great asset to the club.
but then again at times i can spend around 20 millions on the likes of Downing, and around 20 for Anderson as well.

Yes it's not wise to spend 40+ millions even if you have that much money, 60 or 70 mil is just stupid... you really must negotiate wisely because even if club says that player is not for sale everyone has it's own price... sometime happens that a club wants about 40 or 50 million for some player but you are able to lower a price for probably 40% to 50% with carefull negotiations...

Well you negotiate... long and patiently... you only raise your bid for about 1m or 1.5m eventually they will accept you can also offer clauses and percent on next transfer (especially if player is hot prospect) that can be very usefull...
You must know when is to much but that depends on you, you must think very carefully if that player is worthy of that much money...
yes one more thing... when i bought Anderson from Man Utd (i played with Watford) in third season he was valued 9M i made an offer of 15M and Man Utd asked for 70M plus 50% eventally after long negotiatons i bought him for 22M and 20% of next sale..

show interest in the player is a good thing.
and if ur lucky then the player u are trying to buy might be 'wanted' by may clubs, and in that way they lower the asking price.
if the player is unhappy or such as well.
otherwise u just negotiate and negotiate simple as that.
u dont have to pay the amount of money it says in asking price.
