I'm with you md_thief and I hope Eugene will be true to his latest post, which we had it exclusively on this site first, that release date should be delayed 2-3 days. the 3rd day is tomorrow... 
Stam is Militia since August 11th 2008 
Stam is convinced that army is a big fat waste of time and unfortunately for him it ends on August 11th 2009

A 100% release date has never been mentioned, they've tried to make it clear all along that there are problems with time available to work on the program and unexpected changes to the infrastructure of the game.
Fingers crossed though with the latest suggestions of a possible realise date it certainly seems we're getting closer to getting our hands on the initial beta release.
I agree with robbo3d 100%, just abit of patience and it'll soon be with us, any news on the release will be posted on the FMScout.com main page as soon as we recieve any further information.
Also the genie website at the time of posting this is back up, although there isn't any newly released information on an aproximate release date.

EDIT: I've also noticed that when the main Genie.fm site is down there file folder is often still open, click here to check the files page.

I'm not sure to be honest, I know the last version released for FM 2007 was.
If not directly designed for Vista I'm sure there'll be a work around for it.

I think that the reason why Genie Scout is not out yet is that theyll make it compatible with the 8.0.1 patch, and have to wait until i gets out, which will be today.

Patch 8.0.1 its here... and its big (105Mb)... i think that we only have to wait 1-2 more days for genie to be released....

The Genie scout was created to be compatible with 8.0.1 BETA which in theory is just a test before an official release. so in theory the scout should be here soon!

its only days, but it seems like years!
You can always use the mini-scout which is available. Does the same in some respects just not so in depth.

No MiniScout isnt yet working with the new 8.0.1 Patch, but im pretty sure the new version wich is compatible with 8.0.1 will be out soon.
