Very funny
I'd never want to meet a Manc in real life, they'll try and rape me!
But if you make it over for a game then you'll be fine, the only time there's any mancs in Old Trafford is Manchester derby!

tbh i agree with you.

there are loads of pathetic gloryhunters at OT now a days. the atmosphere isnt that good anymore either.

this talk about man utd makes me crave for a live game on old trafford.hope i'll visit england this year so i can go to a game at old trafford

It was a lot better before the Glazers came in as well but that sent the locals running to FC United, freeing up extra seats for the increasing amount of day trippers.
Liverpool and Chelsea are having partly the same problem with glory hunters but tbh it's nowhere near as bad as the majority are still locals mainly because there's next to no reason to leave unlike United's takeover.
Plus Liverpool's aren't that bad from what I've seen! Ours are mostly scandinavian and like to sing along.

better in england than romania.last matchday in roamnia a fan went on the pitch in the middle of the game threatening the players with a gun(unfortunetly the referee blocked the view of the cameras so the actual gun was never seen).besides...at every derby there has to be at least a stabbing incident and(not "or") fans fightin on the street with the police and gendarmes or each other

so the atmosphere cant be any worse in england

yh i think anfield is usually in good voice.

well not every game of course. but it is a bit better than OT and stamford bridge.

i have to admit though, emirates and the stamford bridge have a really bad atmosphere.

its overall football in england as well. i think in 10 years time most of the real football fans will be the ones supporting lower leagues team, while the bigger teams in the premiership will be mostly full of glory hunters.
of course not all the locals will go and support another team. but i cant see the atmosphers getting better with more and more fans coming to watch football matches like its somekind of a movie.
and the ticket prices now are just pathetic. too much money involved in footy.

and i will be coming down to manc in april, not to OT though, i will be off to blackburn for the away game, and after that i will go to the FC united home game.

for me its not the same to go down to OT anymore.
away games are still great to go and support ur team at.

but it still costs too much. and i cant stand the fans who come from USA and asia.
seriously, im not the only one, but i know that many will disagree, but USA and asia got nothing to do with football. its a sport for europe and south america, and a bit of africa.

i just see it that way.

I didn't realise they had crowd troubles in Romania, that was sorted out in England in the late 80s after Heysel because of course all English clubs were banned from the competitions.

It's hard to talk about certain fans without sounding xenophobic but I have to agree. While in south america, europe and africa football is like a religion, in asia and usa it's like some quaint passtime. Although after hearing the yanks' great original chants I'd prefer them not to sing. Some guy asked on a sports forum today what's the best football chant you kno, loads turned up saying USA! USA! or here we go steelers here we go!

oh my. seriously i think they just need to keep themselves to baseball and 'american sissy football'. and yh i forgot basketball a sport i could accept.

and i also hate when people say soccer. its football. only americans and many asians use the word 'soccer' its pathetic tbh.

unfortunelty in romania many fans come to games just to fight with the rival fans or the police.they live for that.its just they way of life.and its wrong.anyway its better than 5-6 years ago;now women and children can come to games

good to see the improvement, here in sweden the hooligans dont find in the stadium or around it. they arrange fights. and that doesnt bother anyone and they arent a danger to others .

i have to admit though, the atmosphere in those countries is amazing, singing nonstop and all.

of course, because of the comunist influence romania was left behind in every field of activity.we still have to learn from the western countrys. ojust last year some teams from the 1 div took down the fences, compared to england...i have never seen an english stadium with fences seperating the fans from the pitch

here's a link
wouldn't put it past UEFA so sounds reasonably true.
I'm just annoyed that we have to play the Arse and if we manage to beat them then another Chelski semi.
