I recently got Oxford United to the premiership, and at the start of the season, signed some more coaches. Everything was fine, skills were gaining rapidly, but I was not happy with some 5 star training ratings. So I signed top coaches for each section and fired the below standard coaches, and assigned one to each area of training. As it stands, all but Set Pieces are 7 star ratings. However, all my players are loosing skills, you know, big direct down arrow. I then cleared the training, and got auto-assigned, and it was pretty poor ratings all round but there was more than one coach assigned to one part.

Is the sudden major drop in all skills on every player due to there being only one coach per training category, or is it just a random lapse in general all round training or what?

I have training schedules based on position, so I don't think its that, as it was working perfectly till I changed coaches. I don't want to carry on if all my wonderkids start loosing attributes.

they will always drop their skills at times.

but you have to give ur players the right amount of rest. if u dont give them rest they will get jaded. and u cant give them too much rest either.

the coaches take time to adapt as well. and the players have to get used to them etc.

but u should have 7 stars at every position.

it happens to me at times that some if not most of the players start to get down arrows in training. but it doesnt really affect my games.

and in time they go up.

not everyone will always get arrows up

shouldnt be something worrying.

Thanks for the info everybody, yeah I played a few more games and the rot seemed to disappear, no skills up of yet. Set Pieces is at 6 stars, not really any viable coaches to train it.
