I download the patch, but my last game version isn't changed. Thats pech.

I've encountered pretty much all of the above error messages, and despite doing everything "workaround" in stam's topic, I still can't get it to work properly. I made sure that I'd installed the correct patch and started a game with it using the 8.0.1 database. After spending a load of time waiting for my game to finish loading up, I saved it without the compress option on and scout still refused to load it. The error message I received was exactly the same as Wonkydonk's first post. I then tried reinstalling the patch and loaded up a new game, this time using a small databse instead of large, I didn't load any extra players, and I only ran one league, the EPL. Once the game loaded up, I saved it and loaded it in scout. I have no idea why, but it worked perfectly. No error messages or anything, it worked exactly as it should. So... I figured that reinstalling the patch etc. had fixed whatever problem and decided to load up another big game. 29 leagues from 21 nations and a big load of extra players loaded with a large databse. After the long loading period I saved the game again and tried opening it with scout. This time I got the same error message I got first time, the same as Wonkydonk's. The save game with the small databse etc. still works fine, no problems with it at all, but for some reason my other save game won't load. Dunno if anyone will have any ideas about what the problem is, or if this bit of information will be helpful in working out what's wrong, but I thought I'd post it on here just in case.

Done it all, and it only worked running one league with a small database.

I think I'll have to try just starting from scratch, reinstall the game and work from there. Did you guys install the 8.0.1 beta patches first? I never had any of the betas, just waited for the full one to be released and got that. Any tips anyone can give me to make sure it all works would be much appreciated.

i re-installed the patch from this website and started everything new following the 5 steps, then it worked

I did all the instruction as mentioned and started a new save game with the patch 8.0.1

I tried to load the genie for the first time and it worked. The problem was, later on in the game, the game was saved automatically and when i tried to reload genie again, it showed exactly the pop up window like in wonkydonk post.

It's not that the genie doesn't work. it works perfectly well at the very beginning but then when the game is saved and you try to reload it again it simply doesn't work. The same as IanP mentioned in his post. So, what do you reckon? Gutted!

Same thing here It worked great for the first half of season, then i got that error and it didn´t work again. I used the "save as" -option, as i allways do.

Genie works perfectly with my other saves, but not with this one anymore. Ive tried to save again and again but no... I have not changed anything from the settings.

I get the "club data seems to be corrupted" -error.

Ok, now the season is over and I´m getting the "person data seems to be corrupted" -error

Doesn´t work. As I said, I´ve been playing more than ½ year with that error, and saved (as) it many, many times.
