Ino in fm08 sum players go by a minus potential ability score which is based on what their researchers have predicted them to achieve in football;

The scoring system goes like this:
-10 = 170-200
-9 = 150-180
-8 = 130-160
-7 = 110-140
-6 = 90-120
-5 = 70-100
-4 = 50-80
-3 = 30-60
-2 = 10-40
-1 = 0-20

now it also says on the si website that even though a player may have this potential, they may not always reach it depending on circumstances nd random factors.

i jst dont get it, dus it mean that every player with a minus ability can reach that, or is it preset wen you start the game that they wont?
jst based on scout reports of people that i know have like -9 potential that some are definate buys because they have the potential to b leading stars, others have potential to be decent nd others dont really have any potential.

Can anyone help?
