Well, it does not seem that many people watch La Liga, so I will get this started..

I am starting to like Getafe.I guess I always cheer on the underdogs but I think they have a brilliant manager and the next few years look promising (their performance against bayern in UEFA was delightful to say the least).

I have never had a favourite in spain (I don't know who too chose between Real Madrid and Barcelona) But I'm starting to not like either (Real keep on trying to steal away Ronaldo as they took Beckham from Us and so I don't like em much.
And Barcelona a team with so much politics going on, and why did they get Henry if they weren't going to let him do what he is good at..this team as a team they are rubbish as individuals they are class
well hopefully that starts something

people do watch la liga, but simply isnt worth talking about haha.

i watch all the football i can watch, and i have to say this year la liga hasnt been that good.

some games are amazing, some are really dull.

one things that frustrates me is the atmosphere, the 'lower teams' look like league one teams from england. it seems like there is a big difference between the 'smaller' teams and the big teams when it comes to resources. i mean if we compare this to french league, dutch, bundesliga then its absolute shit

I dunno F. Torres recently was quoted as saying that he believes that gap to be smaller in spain than in england

torres doesnt know shit.

the thing with the spanish league is that its alot of fuck ups all around, teams are inconsistent as ever. its not about it being 'tough' and equal.

its just that the teams and the players arent always 100% concentrated and hungry to fight in everygame.

a team will be on fire in one match. the next they will be utter shite.

and the fans are just shit as well, so many empty stadiums and whatnot. the fans arent there to get the players going.(exception for some teams like sevilla).

He was there for a while, although I can't agree with red about the inconsistency (which could be due to teams being similarly equal) I would agree about stadiums and the way the fans react. I haven't seen any better than in England (I think Derby is a proud example of that, stadium full even though they are relegated) and the reactions of madrid fans and barcelona fans at times is sickening.
But again I think the coaching style there is different (and so alot of their players are more technically inept...I think)

There is really no definitive way of deciding which competition is the best. No matter what anyone who answers your question says, it's all still subjective and down to the individuals personal opinion.

Personally, i find the Premiership mostly boring as all hell, with the exceptions of some exciting teams such as Arsenal, Man Utd, Tottenham, Pompey, Reading. Rest of the teams in the Premiership bore me to tears.

So Real Madrid clinched their second straight title...what do you guys think...did they deserve it(based on quality of players, coach...)?

they have never deserved anything

real madrid havent played well at all this season.

but then again la liga overall has been shit.

every single team has been inconsistent and never done really well.

if any team in la liga had been consistent and put in good quality week in week out. and if they had given everything then they could have been champions, of course then im talking about a top team. because murcia and such teams wouldnt stand a chance.

but real should feel really really lucky for winning the league this season. its been a shit season in la liga in my opinion.

i hope villarreal take the title next season though.
