fabiano i think still should claim as the best player in la liga. he has been tremendous this season. when kanoute was in african cup of nation, they didnt miss him much at all thanks to fabiano.
As good as messi is I don't think he will ever be as good as Ronnie (tho I do admire the talent of messi) Maybe in the future if he fulfills that amazing potential then I would have to say differntly.

When have you seen messi tear apart defences in big games (look at the fixtures against madrid..ronaldinho plays well they tore madrid apart..ronnie not there they lose) messi is inconsistent which comes with being young and all but Ronaldo has stepped up his game and he has done well in all the big games this season.
