Hey all, I want to ask you FM'ers out there, for all those managing lower leagues who do you usually buy. I'm talking about the ones you buy for cheap and become freaking amazing? Now i know this shouldn't be here cause honestly they are the "TOp players" but any star that gets you promoted ought to be a top player right ?

Just found one good player who joined for my lower league, not very young, but I got him for free and his stats look good. His name is Alexander Viveros, 29 years old from Colombia (maybe you need to have the option 'Load All Players from' Colombia enabled). He plays D/W/M L.

Have you tried the mini-scout or Fm Genie scout? This will source the players you are looking for.

Well to me D1 is already considered lower league, i refuse to play anything lower cause honestly no one will join. I guess yeah we could use the scouts and genies to find amazing players but I find it interesting to hear from others and how well these "top players" have done for them

good point and a very blunt statement indeed! And I ,for once, reluctantly have to agree with this..
That is why I am looking forward to playing the fm online with you all guys. That will be a real test for our managerial skills!

shimei, there's an English goalie with relatively good potential. Preston Edwards from Norwich if I'm not mistaken. You might be interested to check this young lad out and tell us what he's like.. =)

I started out with West Brom in the Coca cola and i signed an awesome SW/DC called Leandro Gioda, very tall, great stats and he only cost me 4.3 mill(AUS) played 45 games for me with a AV R of 7.20 and then 35 games in the premiership next season for 7.20. Great header of the ball.
I also signed Franco Costanzo(GK) for 2.6 mill(AUS) possible one of the fastest goal keepers in the world (19 acceleration). He played 46 games in Coca cola season with 29 Conc and 25 Cln with AV R of 7.24. After promotion to EPL he played 38 games with 38 Conc and 16 Cln with AV R of 7.47.
Both easily attainable for most coca cola teams and both able to preform in the EPL.

ok this is kind of lower league. If u get relegated from the prem you should spent the 9 million i did on a stiker called Ivan Alonso set him as your target man then passing to head. he wins everything and scores double figures. i won the league nd he still scores in prem. although be warned his fitness isnt the best so have a sub ready incase. Soz for all you other lower league players i realise this is a massive price but it cud go down as he is in his early thirtys.
