its jan 2008, im 13th in league but on a 4 match unbeaten run, so looking to climb table, have had nightmare injury troubles, any cheap suggestions on how to improve my squad, i want to win the title over a 5 year plan, by genrealy improving my squad every year.

just buy jefferson farfan and you will enyoing in playing FM08! He is in Dinamo(Croatia) scores 23 goals and 32 asstistances!Im buy him for 14,5mil of euros and 11 mil when he scores 50 goals!HE is best!

Decided to take your advice. I've just started up a game as Doncaster. A hell of a lot more fun in lower leagues.

good stuff, the only thing i hate about the lower leagues is the staff. you cant really get enough staff and the players wont get the best of trainings.
thats the only place where i will 'cheat', i will make my staff(coaches only) really really good so i get decent training and around at least 5 stars in every training category. the training helps a lot, but having at times only 3 staff members you have some with only 2 stars so it doesnt work that well.
but its really fun taking teams up the table and causing 'shocks' etc.
i just started a game with fc united, i only had 5 players and the rest were youngsters, so i added a bit of money so i can get at least 15 players so i have a squad to say the least haha, i need to field 11 players every match

Aye, Doncaster have 2 GK coaches and an Assistant manager. Terrible training options but i'm going to try and push through. Currently laying Top after 15 games.

i remember the lower leagues, didnt like it too much, too easy realy, got southend utd back to back promotions and then got into premier league, then finished 16th, then just forgot about it.
might start a new game with millwall as soon as i have gotten bored of wigan, which i will do lol.

Millwall is very good, i played with them but got bored because in 34 games i had 33 victories and 1 lost (in very first game against Southend 4:5)...
I bought Rok Kronaveter and Daryl Murphy and both of them were best scorers in the league, both of them above 30 goals... It got really boring because i was winning every game with three four goals margin...
Only weak part is defense, so you have to strengthen it up...

i agree with RedArmy20!
if u try to play other team that's mean u can know how other team condition which may be are ur "enemy" when u play ur favorite team...and u can get good or better oR best result like u hope to ur favorite team.one is important is HOW U KNOW UR "rivals power" n get to match them,mr micah..!!!! Think THAT-TAKE THAT N RESULT WILL COME..

I have got Simon Francis, Jack Wilshere and Clint Clark but only Jack Wilshere really gets a game. Simon Francis was great for Championship but since i got Vanden Borre he's really not needed and Clint Clark is a regen. 16 years old with a high potential ability.

push print screen,than go to irfan view or ac/dc or the good old paint from the start menu, than search in the program's menu something like file->paste or edit->paste and than save the print screen.
