When I've installed it, I get an intermittent error message
"Access violation at address 004BE93C in module FMM 2.2.exe Write of address 00000024"

I've gone into options and its all in ? marks. And it won't close when i press what I think may be the OK button. I'm running 32 bit Vista if that helps. Any help would be really appreciated.

It should also be compatible with Windows Vista. When you are running under Vista, don't install to system volume (like C: ), but if you do you can try this:
- Right Click on the .exe file
- Go to Compatibility tab
- Enable 'Run as Administrator' option

look around the site first before asking mate. this question has been asked over and over again.

but as you are a new member i will let you off with a warning.

I checked that box before posting, and it still did that. I don't get the part about not installing it onto a system volume, but where else could it go?

EDIT: Solved the problem now, thanks for your help mate

another system volume means, if you for an example have 2 hard disks then you will have 1 with your windows on it. which will most probably be 'c:' and the other one being 'D:'.

and on vista it usually works when u 'run is at administrator'

elaborate.

im using vista and having no problems what so ever using FMM. i just have to 'right click' on the shortcut, and then choose 'run as administrator'. and it works fine.

if ur still having problems then this might fix it:
Look to the top right, find and click the triangle. You are into the Options now, so just change the version to FM 8.0.2.

Im sure you get this annoying question all the time but I’m using updated 8.02 and the most recent (2.25) fmm. I’ve tried all the different “FM Versions” in the options menu and I still get the error message error 1073 when i load. Any suggestions?

ps. btw hi every1
