Is there anyone out there that has had any sucess with newcastle? they are totally jinxed !!

I had tried them for 4 seasons and won nothing... best finish was 4th

Then i started again and bought some better players and had new tactics... first season i finished 5th after putting a decent run together at the end of the season. But now i'm 2 games away from finishing 10th in the league now.

Honeslt no matter what i try it does not work! I try to tweak things during games and it doesnt work... nothing ever works i'm sick to the back teeth of it.

Its also not like i have a rubbish team either... my best 11 is

he just posted his team, he has berbatov and aguero as strikers.

which is great because he can use berbatov as a target man to have the ball played to his feet, and then personal instructions on berbatov to make through balls often, with the pace of aguero it would work great.

i did that with carew and agbonlahor, of course then i had that carew should get it on the head. and giving him less 'creative freedom' or attacking mentality he will go slightly deeper and in that way he will drag one of the CB's and then the space will open up for the other striker.

haha, i wouldnt really be here if i was one of the makers of FM.

plus if you watch as much football as i do then u will most probably see the obvious tactics that the managers use. and you can use the real life information and try it in FM.

and because FM is so realistic as a game its easier for me to be able to great at FM. i love football so much as well, and i dont think you will ever see a day that i havent had anything to do with football

i find that odd.

i was playing this online game with aston villa. and 1st season i finished 9th and after a more or less dreadful season, i took over the team on the 31st august and didnt have much money at all and i could only buy ferreira.

anyways with the team aston villa had i thought i could do quite so well considering how well they have been doing in real life and they do have some quality players.

but nope, totally underrated as a team. i struggled in every single game. i was aorund 11th and 12th place, and in my last 8 or so matches i played my strongest team to be able to make a great unbeaten run and finish 9th. got into euro vase, and because my team had the best disciplinary record i got into the euro cup without having to play the euro vase.

anyway, next season i got to choose my budget, i got money and i bought some players i really needed. i had bought the likes of shevchenko, van der vaart and coloccini.

in the uefa cup i was flying, i was doing alrite in the premiership but my team was too inconsistent in the premiership at the start. in the carling cup i shockingly lost out to swansea. a competition i thought i could win if i could avoid a big team. but that didnt happen.

january comes up, i get more money and i sign a few more players. my mistake was that i bought players who take time to settle in and more or less are future players. and what i needed was players in their prime.
anyway i think i got 1-2 players from united in january because playing online.

i forgot to add i bought Enke from hannover at the start of the second season. second half of the season, i was doing great now. team was getting consistent. enke was showing his worth, time and again he kept saving us. i was through in the uefa cup and every single time i got to play away first which i love becuase getting a good away result is always a key.

at home my team is always strong, no matter how shite the team is i just have something in me that im great at home. i get liverpool in the fa cup and unluckily loose out.

BUT im still in the uefa cup, im doing great now, in the league im around 4th now.

i go as far as the final in the uefa cup, after beating the likes of fiorentina, liverpool. in the league it wasnt going that great, because i was offering too much on the uefa cup now. but in the end i win the uefa cup. and even though i finished 6th and my board didnt want to give me a new contract until i won the uefa cup of course. i still managed to have a good season.

money came in, i bought lots of players and what not. and now i think im 2nd placed.

its not really about 'jinxed team', its about what players you sign, what instructions you give them. how you assess your team tactics what you say in the media.

after a couple of hard fighting seasons u can become a great team.

or u can have a great start to the career do really well a couple of seasons and then struggle.
